Italian Association for Industrial Research

Airi is a private non-profit association representative of a wide network of research and innovation players in Italy, including large companies, SMEs, research organizations, universities and financial institutions, with the mission to promote public–private cooperation and industrial research at national and EU level.

Within the SocKETs project, Airi coordinates the mapping of the innovation ecosystems of the different case studies, and contributes to develop indicators to assess the impacts of co-creation on the industrial innovation priorities.

Airi is responsible for the Italian case study on circular economy in the building and construction sector and will contribute to develop the SocKETs Toolbox for industry to work co-creatively with public, by organising a multistakeholder workshop.

Airi leads the dissemination and exploitation activities, with the support of ECSITE in implementing an effective communication and dissemination strategy and developing exhibitions in Science Centers. Airi is responsible for the Toolbox launch events and the door-to-door campaigning activity.
